The newly acquired Sirius FM-4 satellite is on display in the James S. McDonnell Space Hangar at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

  • Wright Brothers Photomechanical Reproduction. An enlargement of the Wright Brothers drawing of their flying machine (original dated March 22, 1903).
  • Gerard O'Neill Papers. This collection consists of 26 cubic feet of material relating to the career of American physicist Gerard O'Neill (1927-1992), who among other things developed a plan to put human settlements into space permanently and sustainably.
  • Dale L. White, Sr., Papers. Dale L. White, Sr. (1899-1977), was a prominent African American pilot who flew the 1939 "Goodwill Flight" (with Chauncey Spencer) from Chicago to Washington, DC, to lobby for African-Americans to be allowed to join the US Army Air Corps. This collection consists of one cubic foot of material relating to his aviation career as well as information on other important African American aviators.
