Former NASA astronaut Mark Kelly will read his new children's book, Mousetronaut, among some of the pivotal pieces in the museum’s space collection. Mousetronaut tells the story of a small mouse that wants nothing more than to travel to outer space. The story is based loosely around Kelly’s experience flying with “mice-tronauts” on his first spaceflight aboard space shuttle Endeavour. In May 2011, he commanded the final mission of Endeavour.

Kelly will be available at the museum store after the book reading to meet the public and sign books.
