This is a standard issue Royal Australian Air Force uniform service coat issued during the 1970s. The Embassy of Australia donated the uniform to the National Air Space Museum in a gesture of good will and international cooperation. There is no known information at this time about the individual who wore the uniform or their service record.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) blue wool service coat; single breasted with open collar; four brass buttons down front with embossed eagle surmounted by a Queen's Crown; two upper button flap pockets with box pleats; two lower button flap pockets; two medal ribbons (British War Medal 1939-1945 and Australian Service Medal 1939-1945); Squadron Leader Rank insignia stripes on cuff; Nationality insignia on each shoulder light blue embroidered "AUSTRALIA" on dark blue felt; attached belt.
