This is a standard issue Royal Australian Air Force uniform tunic issued during the 1970s. The Embassy of Australia donated the uniform to the National Air Space Museum in a gesture of good will and international cooperation. There is no known information at this time about the individual who wore the uniform or their service record.

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) dark blue wool battle jacket or war service dress; two button flap pockets with box pleat; Wing Commander three stripe rank insignia on epaulets; two service ribbons (British War Medal 1939-1945 and Australian Service Medal 1939-1945) over left breat pocket; four hidden buttons down front; attached waist belt; light blue embroidered nationality "AUSTRALIA" badge on each shoulder.
