This is a standard issue Royal Australian Air Force summer or tropical service coat issued during the 1970s. The Embassy of Australia donated the uniform to the National Air Space Museum in a gesture of good will and international cooperation. There is no known information at this time about the individual who wore the uniform or their service record.

Physical Description:
Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) khaki drill tropical service coat ; single breasted with open collar; four brass buttons down front with embossed eagle surmounted by a Queen's Crown; two upper button flap pockets; two lower flap but no pockets; RAAF Navigator's badge (white embroidered half-wing on black felt; light blue wreath surrounds "RAAF" in center of badge; St. Edward's (Queen's) crown surmounts wreath and "RAAF") over left breast pocket, one medal ribbon (General Service Medal 1918-1964); Squadron Leader Rank insignia on epaulets; olive green nylon lining.
