This is a U.S. Air Force Titan I intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) built by the Martin Company. The two-stage, liquid-fuel Titan I carried a single thermonuclear warhead and had a range of over 6,000 miles. It was deployed operationally from 1962-1965, at which time it was replaced by the more advanced and survivable Titan II ICBM. The missile was donated by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Marshall Space Flight Center.
