This is a model of unknown scale of the Saturn 1 rocket. Developed by NASA as part of its effort to build a launch vehicle capable of sending astronauts to the Moon, Saturn 1s were three-stage liquid-propellant vehicles. Ten Saturn 1s were flown from 1961-1965. They boosted boilerplate Apollo command service modules into space for flight testing and later launched Pegasus satellites.

Both the manufacturer and donor of the model are unknown.
