Physical Description:
Airfoil section used on Langley whirling arm. Perfect arc with maximum depth of curvature 1 inch (2.5 cm). Brass, 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) wide, reinforcements on each end of airfoil section. Object is primarily made of wood, but contains brass supports on the edges.
