United States Army Air Service (USAAS) Type M1912/1917 officer's uniform coat; single breasted drab wool with five brass buttons down front; two upper patch pockets and two lower patch pockets with brass buttoned flap; stiff or "choker" collar; single gold officer's lace on each cuff; epaulets; two overseas service chevrons on left cuff; 3rd Army Aviation insignia on left shoulder.
United States Army Air Service Enlisted man's olive green wool service coat with stand collar; 2 upper button flap pockets with box pleats; 2 lower button flap pockets; 5 brass buttons down front; silver wire on black wool pilot's badge on left breast; brass United States "U.S." national identification insignia on right collar; Air Service winged propeller insignia on left collar; Master Signal Electrician insignia on right arm; olive drab colo; two overseas service chevrons on left cuff; World War I Victory medal ribbon over left breast pocket.
