This is a set of ten Comete 75 model rocket motors packaged for retail sale. They are made of pasteboard and contain non-explosive propellant. They are unusually long-burning motors for model rockets, each one with a duration of 12 seconds. A motor is used only once to power a model rocket. The L'Avion de France firm in France manufactured them.
G. Harry Stine donated this artifact to the Museum in 1973.
