This circuit board is a component of the Voyager 2 spacecraft's attitude and control system. Built by the jet Propulsion Laboratory of Pasadena, California, it is a flight-qualified spare, which were used in laboratory simulations to resolve in-flight problems encountered by the Voyager spacecraft.

In 1986, Voyager 2 passed close to the planet Uranus and transmitted images of its surface back to Earth.
