On May 20-21, 1927, Charles Lindbergh literally flew into history when he crossed the Atlantic Ocean in his Ryan NYP Spirit of St. Louis, thus becoming the first pilot to fly solo and nonstop from New York to Paris. This flight made Lindbergh a household name and catapulted him into fame and celebrity. Program for a banquet in honor of Lindbergh on August 18, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas. The program is printed on a single sheet of paper that is folded in half twice, making four pages. The paper is a light brown and the ink is dark brown. Lindbergh's signature is on the front cover in blue ink. On the second page is a drawing of Lindbergh on a separate piece of paper that is mounted to the page.
