Pin, Lapel, 1st Aero Squadron, United States Army Air Service
Worn by members of the 1st Aero Squadron of the American Expeditionary Force who served in World War I. The 1st Aero Squadron was first established on 5 March 1913 and served on the Western Front from April - November 1918.
