June 6 is the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the Allied invasion of Western Europe that gave the Allies the foothold they needed to defeat Nazi Germany the next year. Join the National Air and Space Museum for a day of activities commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Enjoy concerts by the Air Force Strings (12:00 pm and 1:00 pm)
Hear the story of the Douglas C-47's role at D-Day (12:30 pm)
Discover how the 320th Barrage Balloon Battalion protected the beaches of Normandy (1:30 pm)
Snap a picture at the Rosie the Riveter Selfie Station
