For the Museum's Hawaii by Air exhibition, Center for Earth and Planetary Studies scientist Andrew Johnston performed additional processing to a satellite image created by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to add coverage for missing areas. About the Ask an Expert lecture series: Every Wednesday at noon in the National Mall Building, a Museum staff member talks to the public about the history, collection, or personalities related to a specific artifact or exhibition in the Museum.

The exhibition, "Hawaii by Air," will open at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. July 25 and will be on view for one year.
