Come by the National Air and Space Museum to celebrate its 35th anniversary. See the popular Imax movie that premiered on opening day, To Fly!, at 1976 prices: 50 cents for adults, and 25 cents for children. The movie will be shown at 11:20 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Buy tickets early in the day to avoid missing this chance.

Also at 2:00 p.m., join curators and authors Michael Neufeld and Alex Spencer for a book talk and signing session in the Moving Beyond Earth gallery. They will be discussing their book, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum: An Autobiography, which tells the story of the Museum and its historic collection from its earliest days until present time. Books will be on sale at the event.

Beginning at Noon EDT on June 27, visit our website ( and read Museum memories of famous people from John Glenn to Homer Simpson's wife, Marge. Then, share your own memory and read those of other visitors throughout the years.
