6:30 p.m. Telescope observing at Phoebe Waterman Haas Public Observatory, weather permitting

Mars was warm and wet early in its history. Impact craters that once held lakes, dried river channels, and ancient deltas tell us about early Martian climate.

Smithsonian's Stars lectures are suitable for ages 13 and up.
