Space Day is a perennial favorite at the National Air and Space Museum where visitors enjoy STEM-inspired hands-on activities, meet astronauts, and learn about space from experts from the Museum and NASA.  All of the activities take place amid the awe-inspiring collection of historic aviation and space artifacts in the Museum in Washington, DC.

Meet an Astronaut
Moving Beyond Earth (Gallery 113)

10:30 am and 1:00 pm
NASA Astronaut Pat Forrester will share his experience in space as well as talk about the future of the Space Program.

Noon and 2:00 pm
NASA Astronaut Joseph M. Acaba and Jeff Miller from the US Forest Service will discuss how NASA works with organizations such as the Forest Service to help conserve Earth’s natural resources.
