Discover the Contributions of Early Latin American Aviators with Dan Hagedorn, author of Conquistadors of the Sky.  (Books will be available for purchase).

Find out what it is like to fly pre-WWI planes.   Dan Taylor, a popular DJ for NYCs’ WCBS-FM, will share his exciting tales of flying planes just like those in the Early Flight Gallery.

Learn about six pre-WWI aviators who made a difference.  There will be a bilingual storytime and a variety of hands-on activities about the Wright Brothers, Jorge Chavez, Alberto Santos Dumont, Louis Bleriot and Harriet Quimby.

Ask an expert.  Curators Tom Crouch and Peter Jakab will talk about the Early Flight Gallery with a special focus on the Wright 1909 Military Flyer.
