Presentations about the incredible contributions of women in aviation, science, and aerospace will engage visitors throughout the day. This program is presented in partnership with the National Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital. Visitors will be able to view a number of science activities developed and presented by local Girl Scout Troops. In honor of Girl Scout Day, the Smithsonian is offering a discounted $5 rate for Girl Scouts and their families at the Airbus Imax Theater and Pulseworks flight simulators. Experience the thrills of an Air Force fighter jet on a 6-story IMAX screen, or take over the controls in one of the interactive simulators. Just mention the offer at the ticket counter to receive the special promotion. Tickets are not included in Girl Scout Day.
