Moving Beyond Earth - Gallery 113
Museum in Washington, DC

For Women’s History Month, join Space History Division curator Margaret Weitekamp as she talks about the history of women at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  From early interest in female astronauts to the current achievements of NASA professionals, the story of women’s participation at NASA echoes the changes women have experienced in other technical and scientific fields.

The Ask An Expert lecture series at the National Mall building is presented every Wednesday at noon. A Museum staff member talks to the public about the history, collection, or personalities related to a specific artifact or exhibition in the Museum.
