Apollo 11 Goodwill Disc
This silicon disc is an exact duplicate of the one Apollo 11 astronauts left on the Moon in July 1969. In exceedingly tiny type, it displays goodwill messages from world leaders. The creation and placing of this marker on the Moon symbolized that Apollo 11 was not just an American success, but also an achievement representing all humanity.
