March 5: The Museum in Washington, DC will open today. Due to weather, the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA is closed.
More Mitsubishi Zeros were produced than any other Japanese warplane. They fought throughout the Pacific in nearly every major battle involving the Japanese navy. This Zero was probably one of a dozen captured on Saipan in 1944 and sent to the United States for evaluation.
