Preservation and Storage of Space Suits

One of the responsibilities of the Space History Division of the National Air and Space Museum is preservation of astronaut equipment. Here, Museum specialist Amanda Young, who is in charge of spacesuits from the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs, works on a spacesuit in the storage room at the Paul E. Garber Restoration and Storage Facility.
