Wiley Post

Wiley Post became the first to fly solo around the world and set a record for speed when he landed his Lockheed Vega Winnie Mae at Floyd Bennett Field, Long Island, New York on July 22, 1933, where he started 7 days, 18 hours, 49 minutes, 20 seconds earlier. This photo shows him standing in front of his Winnie Mae.
