North American P-51C, "Excalibur III" at the Udvar-Hazy Center

On May 29, 1951, Capt. Charles F. Blair flew Excalibur III from Norway across the North Pole to Alaska in a record-setting 10 1/2 hours. The airplane is on display at the National Air and Space Museum's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
