What is the Honoree Profile and why is it important?

The Honoree Profile provides you an opportunity to capture for all time the passion that your Honoree has for flight and space exploration. Each Honoree Profile will be accessible for online viewing on the Museum’s web site so others can be inspired.

How do I submit my Honoree Profile?

When you complete your Wall of Honor donation online, you will receive a confirmation email with a personalized link that will walk you through the process to create your own Honoree Profile.  Profiles describe your interest in or contributions to the fields of aviation and space exploration.  Most profiles are short narratives (please limit to 350 words) and may contain a photograph of the Honoree. See a sample Wall of Honor profile. Profiles are usually made available online within 4 weeks of submission.

I need assistance with the Wall of Honor.

The Wall of Honor applications are continuously processed which means the data is often being updated. If you cannot find an Honoree's name on the Wall, the name might be in the process of installation, which is done on a quarterly basis. If you are having a problem with a Wall of Honor application, please contact us at wallofhonor@si.edu or 202.633.2603.

Will I know when the name of my honoree has been placed on the Wall of Honor?

Each donor will receive notification from the National Air and Space Museum that an honoree's name has been engraved on a tablet that has been installed on a foil of the Wall of Honor. This may take several months.
