2011 Mutual Concerns Overnight Tour Logistics
The fee for the overnight field trip includes:
- Admission for the Air Zoo and the Henry Ford Museum
- Box lunches on Thursday and Friday.
- Roundtrip transportation from Dayton to the Michigan museums. Participant may choose depart from Detroit Metropolitan Airport. See below for Friday Departure Options.
The hotel stay and meals other than lunches are not included on the overnight field trip fee, although the Fairfield Inn West does provide complimentary continental breakfast.

Participants must make their own reservations for Thursday, April 14, night at the Fairfield Inn West:

The hotel is holding a block of rooms for fieldtrip participants at the rate of $89 for standard guestroom. To book your room, individual reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 269-353-6400 and asking for a room with the 'Mutual Concerns Conference' block. These rooms will be held until Monday, March 14, 2011.
Friday, April 15, Departure Options
Participants have the option of departing the tour at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (either before or after touring the Henry Ford Museum) instead of returning to Dayton. Participants can be dropped off at the airport by approximately 2:30 p.m. to catch a late afternoon or evening flight.
If you are interested in staying overnight in Detroit area to catch a morning flight, the Westin Hotel is attached to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Average best price is $139/night. Please call or book online.

If returning to Dayton on Friday, the estimated arrival time is 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15; too late for a night departure from the airport. You will want to book a room at the Dayton Marriott, or, if you would like a hotel closer to the airport with a complimentary shuttle, the Holiday Inn Dayton Airport is holding rooms at $79 for standard guestroom.
