Saturn V and Soviet N-1 Rocket models in Space Race

 

Space Race compares U.S. and Soviet technology developed for manned lunar missions. To the left: a model of the U.S. Saturn V rocket and Apollo space suit worn on the Moon. To the right: a model of the Soviet N-1 rocket, which failed in test flights, and a Soviet Moon suit designed for a lunar landing mission that never occured.
