Construction at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center

The new wing of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center will be dedicated to the behind-the-scenes care of the Smithsonian’s amazing collection of aircraft, spacecraft, related artifacts, and archival materials. The facilities are scheduled to open in October 2010. This photo of the construction was taken on June 1, 2009.
