Space Shuttle "Enterprise"

National Air and Space Museum staff restored the Space Shuttle Enterprise in 2004. Here the Enterprise is seen at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center's James S. McDonnell Space Hangar, surrounded by scaffolding, which allowed our collections specialists to safely reach all the upper areas of the spacecraft.
