Wilbur Wright and Edith (Mrs. Hart O.) Berg seated in an Wright Aircraft. Mrs. Berg became Wilbur's first woman passenger when they flew for two minutes at Auvours, France on October 7, 1908. Note Mrs. Berg's skirt tied with cord below the knees.
