Physical Description:Jetfire's first cameo in the 2009 live-action movie 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' was filmed at NASM's own Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Audiences witness the museum's awesome SR-71 Blackbird converting into the two-story-tall incarnation of the ex-Decepticon robot. But the geriatric robot has remained dormant in his aerial mode for years, leading him to awaken confused and downright clumsy. The scene depicts the ancient Jetfire bumping into digitally created aircraft and spacecraft, knocking over a Gemini capsule, before regaining his composure. Jetfire's re-awakening initially frightens Sam and the others because the robot's landing gear door cover bears the Decepticon emblem. They back away quickly until Jetfire reassures them that he is a former Decepticon. He describes how he once belonged to their group, but defected to the Autobots after he realized their evil schemes. Who knows why he hasn't removed the infamous insignia, but his selfless sacrifice at the end of the story certainly prove that he is one of the good guys.
