Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Construction and Move-In Photos

Corsair ready to travel



The Vought F4U-1D Corsair is stripped and parts are being packed in a trailer for its move to the Udvar-Hazy Center. These pictures are at the Paul E. Garber Preservation, Restoration, and Storage Facility where the Corsair has been stored for a number of years. Note that the list of artifacts destined for the Udvar-Hazy Center indicates the dates each has arrived at its new home.
