Moisant Aviation School Clippings [s-65A]

Dates: February 1911 - January 1913

Condition: HANDLE VERY CAREFULLY. rot, canvas cover torn. Paper--brittle. deteriorating. The scrapbook appears due to general use.

Medium: Newspaper clippings.

General Topics: Activities of the Moisant Aviation School between 1911-1913. Male and female aviators such as Harriet Quimby are mentioned.

Moisant Aviators Clippings [S-65B]

Dates: November 1910-March 1912.

Condition: HANDLE VERY CAREFULLY. Cover-leather edges have red rot. Paper-very brittle. Newspaper Clippings-deteriorating. The scrapbook appears to have water damage. There is evidence of past mold activity (inactive at present). There are also insect casings on one corner (inactive at present). Damage due to general use.

Medium: Newspaper clippings.

General Topics: Activities (mostly air/meet shows) of the Moisant Aviators both nationally and internationally from 1910-1912.
