Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center Parking

Daily parking is available for $15 (free after 4:00 pm). We accept all major credit cards. Refunds are available if you are just dropping-off or picking-up passengers.*

Free parking is available for up to 40 buses.

The parking fee is to help pay down the debt incurred in building the Udvar-Hazy Center and to pay for continued construction projects. Although the ongoing operations and programs of the Center are supported by tax dollars, its remaining costs from construction must be covered entirely by donations and parking and retail revenues consistent with the original authorizing legislation that no federal funds be used for its construction.

Eventually, once the construction costs have been fully paid, parking and retail revenues will support the Center's educational and public programs, artifact collections and care, and exhibitions.

To accommodate frequent visitors, the National Air and Space Museum offers a parking pass that is good for six entries to the Udvar-Hazy Center parking lot. Parking passes may be purchased at the Welcome Centers at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA or the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. A six-use parking pass may be purchased for $75, but active National Air and Space Society Members receive a discounted price of $60.

Note: Only two-axle vehicles are eligible.
 
* Drop-offs and Pick-ups
All drivers will be required to pay the $15 parking fee and will receive a time stamped parking ticket. After passenger(s) are dropped off at the Museum entrance, the driver may return to the parking gate house and receive a full refund upon exit. This must occur within 30 minutes of the time stamped on the ticket. Visitors returning to the parking gate house after the 30 minute drop off period will not be eligible for a parking refund.
