Purchasing Tickets
Imax Theater box offices are located at the National
Air and Space Museum (both locations) and the National Museum of Natural History. The Albert Einstein
Planetarium box office is located on the second floor of the National Air
and Space Museum National Mall building. Box offices open at 10:00 am each day and close after the
start of the last scheduled show. Same day tickets are available at box
offices and by phone. Online tickets are available until 24 hours before
the showing. Please note: The Udvar-Hazy Center has a $15 parking fee. If you plan to visit the Imax Theater box office at the Udvar-Hazy Center, please plan to do so after 4pm to avoid parking fee.

tickets online for all Smithsonian Theaters, including the Airbus IMAX Theater, the Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater, and Einstein Planetarium located at the National Mall building.

Tickets By Phone: Tickets may be purchased by phone by calling 202-633-IMAX
(4629) or toll free at 1-866-868-7774 seven days a week from
10:00 am to 5:00 pm, EST, except December 25th. There is a $2.00 per ticket
fee (non-refundable) for tickets ordered by telephone.
Group Sales:
Groups or 10 or more can purchase Imax film or Planetarium tickets for a discount rate. Advance reservations are required. See Imax
and Planetarium Group Sales for more information. School groups can reserve Imax and Planetarium shows along with guided tours. Please see School Group Tours for more information.
No REFUNDS or EXCHANGES Show schedule and admission prices are subject to change without notice.
For safety reasons, no one may be admitted after the show has started.
