Through its public programs, the Museum introduces visitors to exciting, inspiring, and educational aspects of aviation and space exploration.

Programs in 2015 included lectures by distinguished speakers such as the first American woman to walk in space, Kathryn Sullivan, three sold-out paid events including an eclipse-watching party, a morning event for local professionals about science fiction, and a scholarly symposium titled, "100 Years of Aerospace Research and Development" co-sponsored with NASA.
