Robert A. Exler joined the Rocketdyne Division of North American Aviation, Canoga Park, California, in 1956 as an engineer. Handling large volumes of static rocket engine test data, he assisted in the design of an automatic digital data acquisition system. This report prepared by Rocketdyne and maintained by Exler presents a description of a proposed program for the study of system requirements and the establishment of design criteria for an integrated data handling system at Edwards Rocket Base and Air Force Rocket Research Laboratory, Cape Canaveral, Florida.
