Physical Description Watercolor painting of Lunardi reascending in the Royal Balloon after landing in a cornfield on August 29, 1786. He originally ascended that day from Kittlewell's Orchard behind York Minster cathedral, but reascended when he became worried the locals would be mad at him for damaging the corn. Part of a set of 17 watercolors on early ballooning. Dimensions 2-D - Unframed (H x W): 23.5 × 31.1cm (9 1/4 × 12 1/4 in.)
