Double-coiled horizontal copper tubing. Two tube ends protrude from both the right and left sides in opposite directions. Both these tube endings taper off into a single tube configuration. This object shows a variation in piping size which is smaller. This is reflected in the original photograph in Langley's "Memoir of Mechanical Flight" as boiler type "T", featured in the "Boilers of Aerodromes" picture template. The object in question is the original object used in the Langley memoir photograph.
