  • 1. shows Montgolfier's balloon aloft.
  • 2. shows Blanchard's balloon aloft.
  • 3. shows Charles and Robert's first small balloon flown on the Champ de Mars being inflated with gas.
  • 4. shows Lunardi's balloon on the ground still attached to the gas barrels.
  • 5. shows Thomas Baldwin's view of Chester from Lunardi's balloon.
  • Each scene has a number which corresponds to the title at the bottom of the page.
  • 'Published as the Act directs, Jany. 16th, 1796, by J. Wilkes.' 'Barber sculp.'
