Promotional advertising mailer issued by air freight carrier Slick Airways, Inc., from their office at Oakland Municipal Airport, Oakland, California; circa 1951-1955. Cartoon illustration by Dick Shaw depicts frazzled businessman ("Traffic Manager") slumped over a desk in an office littered with papers, coffee cups, telephones off the hook, and an ashtray overflowing with cigarette butts. Reverse (address side of pre-paid postage mailer) features left side view of stylized Slick Airways Douglas DC-6A in flight.
