Sketch of a B-29 Superfortress in flight by Julie Brown, an artist in the Photo-Art Department at the Glenn L. Martin - Nebraska Company. Brown studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Art Students' League in New York. When World War II began, Brown completed engineering drawing courses at Omaha University and began work at the Martin-Nebraska Company in 1943 as a production illustrator. Image is on the reverse of an oil painting of a B-29 in flight over mountains (NASM-9A14111-010A).
