Physical Description
Double row of copper tubing; independent rows supported by two brackets (which are very loose). This object represents the newer design of utilizing two rows of tubing that is reflected in the original photos in Langley's "Memoir of Mechanical Flight" (Boilers of Aerodromes). The tubing is now separated, instead of beng coiled closely together, as in earlier designs.
