  • Thickly-coiled horizontal copper tubing. This object in particular has external tubing connecting onto a short copper pipe running in a perpendicular direction, suggesting a circulation system. Please note: This is the original object photographed in Langley's "Memoir of Mechanical Flight" as boiler type "K", featured in the "Boilers of Aerodromes" picture template.
