Front view of a Burgess F Moth (licensed built Wright Model B) mounted on wheels and being towed by a White automobile. William Starling Burgess stands by the auto. Boston, c.1911. Original caption - "In this photo W. Starling Burgess, the well known maker of aeroplanes, is shown using his automobile, White "30" to tow one of his air machines. Mr. Burgess' factory is located at Marblehead, a suburb of Boston, and this photo was snapped when Mr. Burgess was taking one of his machines through the city to the aviation field at Squantum, where the recent meet was held."
