Warm Greetings from a Cold Country. Letter from Richard Konter to his friend Ed, dated May 15, 1930. Letterhead includes Byrd Antarctic Expedition logo and an illustration of the "City of New York" docked with penguins in the foreground at the top corners; black ink stamps of the Byrd Expedition and a cancellation stamp are placed immediately below. The letter, written in black iron gall ink, continues onto the back of the paper.
