Physical Description

  • Textile curtain panel made from a ballooning-themed printed textile. The printed textile has been attached to a plain textile backing, which is also exposed at the top of the front of the panel. The left and bottom edge have been edged in a burgany fabric. The right side of the panel is finished, but not edged in the burgandy fabric. Copper alloy hooks for hanging are located at the top of the panel. A previous catalog number from a former insitution has been written in ink on the bottom of the reverse side of the panel.
  • One of two matching curtain panels. Also accompanied by two window valances, two curtain tie-backs, and a bedspread in the same printed textile. (See the Related Works Section under the Documentation tab for accession numbers).
