Snapshot (possibly by Lt. Leslie Arnold) of heavily-laden camels taken at one of the refueling sites established for the US Army Around the World Flight, probably circa July 1-10, 1924, at Karachi, India; Bandar Abbas, Persia (Iran); Baghdad, Mesopotamia (Iraq); or Aleppo, Syria. The right wing of a Douglas World Cruiser can be seen in the right portion of the photo, with fuel cans on the ground in front of the aircraft.
